Help with Transparent Content Creation

Postby MoxZ on Sat Nov 17, 2007 8:57 pm

Ok, I've been working on an Azalia bush. And I'm building this bush on basic square and flattened criss crossed prims like I've seen done countless times. Thanks to Robinwood.com and the free super blade pro plugin, I have learned how to get rid of the white lines after creating your alpha...so ignore that...My problem is the prims. They appear to be glass and not 100 percent transparent! Picture added for visual. Why? How do I fix this?

Ok you will need to make all the edges transparent aswell, The best way to do this is get a fully transparent texture.

I have one in my inventory in secondlife I can pass to ya if you give me ya secondlife name.

Or create one in your paint program and applie to all edges

Back again! I had a friend with a totally transparent texture and he gave me a copy. I do appreciate the knowledge! LOL except I lost the prim when I textured it transparent and was given a brand new tidbit!

Control Alt T will turn the invisibility of an object off and back on again! Yay!
