Graphics In Secondlife

Where to begin.

I was up until this morning selling my textures at Textures R Us, I have done so for months and have never had a problem, This morning I wake up to an offline email saying you have been removed from TRU's texture artist group, I was like WTF? I logged into secondlife to find a notecard, Quite a friggin rude one might I add, When I finally manage to figure it all out I realise its because I allow 3 other people to sell textures on a commission basis in my store.

She (Lillybeth) flat out accuses me of being a theif for stealing her idea? Excuse me your idea? since when did you own the copyright to a combined texture store? You don't.


I sent her a message back and very politely explained that I thought it was highly unfair, She had not made any contact prior to this (even tho the other artists have been their for a couple of weeks now) and that no where in her TOS does it mention that one cannot use their own store for such purposes.

I went out of my way to make sure I did the right thing, I even went so far as to stating that TRU artists need not apply so I didn't cause conflict. ( I also told her that)

Then I recieve a second notecard, Which was flat out rude, I tried to IM her but she has muted me. Yet my texture packs are still sitting at TRU and she has been earning commission from them all day.

This goes out to Lillybeth personally (because I know you read these forums), This could have been dealt with in a civil manner, You wanted to be a bitch about it. So heres a new flash for you, YOU DO NOT OWN SECONDLIFE, even though you like to think you do, You go on and on and on about how your the biggest texture store and blah blah blah but you want to know what your biggest problem is? You know that one of these days someone is going to come along and offer something that is way better then that which you do and they are going to completely kick your ass. I work bloody hard on my textures, some of them take me weeks so you can get your greedy little hands of them and return them to me and stop stealing (yes stealing) my lindens.

You also say that another artist does exactly the samething in their store but that its ok, yet you remove me and then be a complete bitch to me. You need help if you can't see how messed up that is...actually you need help full stop.

You terminated our contract therefore you have no right to be earning a single linden from my creations.
